Your agent's documents are now automatically backed up to GitHub and stay synchronized across all editing surfaces.
Edit Anywhere
Documents created in planning chat are now saved to a dedicated GitHub repository for your agent. This means you can:
- Edit in the planning chat as usual
- Edit directly in your agent's container
- Edit on GitHub from any device
- Use your favorite local editor via git clone
Changes sync automatically. Work where you're most comfortable.
No More Lost Work
Previously, documents lived only in the container. If a container restarted or was recreated, your work could be lost.
Now everything is backed by GitHub. Container restarts? Your documents are safe. Need to recreate an agent? Clone the repo and you're back in business.
One-Click Sync
The Documents tab now shows your sync status at a glance. Hit the sync button to pull the latest changes or push local edits.
For new agents, you'll see a "Provision Repository" button to set up document storage. Existing agents can provision storage and migrate their documents with one click.
Automatic Sync
You don't need to think about syncing most of the time:
- After creating or updating documents in planning chat, changes sync automatically
- When your container starts, it pulls the latest documents
- A short delay (2 seconds) batches rapid changes so you're not waiting on every keystroke
