System Chat, Notification Center, and Browser-Ready Agents

System chat became a real live control surface, notifications grew into a proper inbox, and agents gained stronger browser and visual workflows.

This was a large product day. Agents became easier to direct in real time, easier to monitor, and more capable when work touches browser flows or visual files.

System Chat Feels Live

System chat is now much closer to a real control surface than a passive transcript.

  • Messages update in real time with optimistic feedback instead of waiting for a full round trip
  • Conversation continuity is stronger, so an interrupted session feels less likely to lose the thread
  • A stop button can cancel active system-chat work when you want to interrupt or redirect the agent
  • Message persistence improved, so the chat history feels more dependable across reloads and navigation

Notifications Became A Real Inbox

Notifications are no longer just a lightweight popover. There is now a fuller notification center experience with clearer state and better control.

  • Read and unread items are separated more clearly
  • Agent-aware labels and grouping make alerts easier to place in context
  • Search, filters, bulk actions, and dedicated notification pages make larger volumes of notifications manageable

Agents Got Better Browser And Visual Context

Agents now ship with stronger built-in browser workflows, and the filesystem viewer can preview image files directly.

The result is that web-facing work, visual inspection, and file exploration feel more natural inside the same workspace.
