Learn how to manage your Kindship account, including sign-in options, profile settings, and security.

Your Kindship account is your gateway to creating agents, managing projects, and collaborating with teams. This guide covers everything you need to know about managing your account.

Sign-In Options

Kindship offers multiple ways to access your account:

Available Methods

  • Email & Password — Traditional sign-in with your email and a secure password
  • Magic Links — Passwordless sign-in via email link
  • Social Sign-In — Sign in with Google, GitHub, or other providers

You can use any method that suits your preferences. All methods provide the same access to your account.

Switching Methods

You can link multiple sign-in methods to your account. For example, you might:

  • Sign up with email and password
  • Later add Google sign-in for convenience
  • Use magic links when you're on a new device

Your Profile

Basic Information

Manage your profile from the Settings area:

  • Display Name — How your name appears to others
  • Profile Photo — Your avatar image
  • Email Address — Your primary email
  • Timezone — For scheduling and timestamps

Updating Your Profile

  1. Click your avatar in the navigation
  2. Select Settings or Account
  3. Navigate to Profile
  4. Make your changes and save

Security Settings

Password Management

If you use email and password sign-in:

  • Change Password — Update your password from security settings
  • Password Requirements — Use at least 8 characters with mixed case, numbers, and symbols
  • Password Reset — Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in page

Connected Accounts

View and manage social sign-in connections:

  • See which providers are linked
  • Add new sign-in methods
  • Remove providers you no longer use

Active Sessions

Monitor where you're signed in:

  • View active sessions across devices
  • Sign out from specific devices
  • Sign out from all devices if needed

Email Preferences

Notification Emails

Control which emails you receive:

  • Account alerts — Security and important account updates
  • Product updates — New features and improvements
  • Tips & tutorials — Help getting more from Kindship

Marketing Emails

You can opt out of promotional emails while keeping essential account communications.

Account Types

Personal Account

Your personal account is created when you sign up. It's your private space for:

  • Personal agents and projects
  • Individual settings and preferences
  • Your own subscription (if applicable)

Team Accounts

You can also belong to one or more team accounts:

  • Created separately or by invitation
  • Shared agents and projects
  • Team billing (billed to the team)

Switch between accounts using the account switcher in the navigation.

Subscription Status

View your current subscription from account settings:

  • Plan type — Free, Pro, or Team plan
  • Billing cycle — Monthly or annual
  • Next billing date — When your subscription renews
  • Usage — How you're using your plan limits

Data & Privacy

Your Data

Kindship takes your privacy seriously:

  • Your conversations and planning data are encrypted
  • Personal data is only used to provide the service
  • You can export your data anytime

Data Export

Request a copy of your data:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy
  2. Click Request Data Export
  3. Receive a download link via email

Account Deletion

If you need to delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision

Deletion is permanent and removes all your data.

Troubleshooting

Can't Sign In

  • Check your email — Make sure you're using the right address
  • Reset password — Use the forgot password link
  • Try another method — If you linked multiple sign-in methods
  • Check your email — Magic links might be in spam

Email Not Receiving

  • Check spam/junk folders
  • Verify your email address is correct
  • Add kindship.ai to your email allowlist

Account Locked

If you see a message about your account being locked:

  • Wait 15 minutes and try again (security protection after failed attempts)
  • Use password reset if you've forgotten your password
  • Contact support if the issue persists
