Magic Links

Sign in to Kindship without a password using magic links sent to your email.

Magic links let you sign in without remembering a password. Just enter your email, click a link, and you're in.

  1. Enter your email — On the sign-in page, enter your email address
  2. Request magic link — Click "Send Magic Link"
  3. Check your email — Open the email you receive
  4. Click the link — You're automatically signed in

No password needed. The link proves you own the email address.

Signing In

  1. Go to kindship.ai and click Sign In
  2. Select Magic Link (or "Passwordless" or "Email Link")
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click Send Magic Link
  5. Open your email and click the link

Creating an Account

Magic links also work for new accounts:

  1. Go to the sign-up page
  2. Select the magic link option
  3. Enter your email
  4. Click the link to create your account

No Password to Remember

Never forget your password again. Your email inbox is your key.

More Secure

No password means no password to steal. Magic links expire quickly and can only be used once.

Easy on Any Device

Signing in on a new device? Just request a magic link — no need to remember or type complex passwords.

Quick Access

For many users, checking email is faster than typing a password, especially on mobile.

Important Notes

Magic links expire quickly for security:

  • Usually valid for 15-60 minutes
  • Can only be used once
  • Request a new link if it expires

Check the Right Inbox

The link goes to the email you entered. Make sure you're checking the right inbox if you have multiple email accounts.

Click, Don't Copy

The link is designed to be clicked directly. If you copy-paste, make sure you get the entire URL.

If your link expired or you didn't receive it:

  1. Go back to the sign-in page
  2. Enter your email again
  3. Click Resend Magic Link

You may need to wait a short time before requesting another link to prevent spam.

Troubleshooting

Email Not Arriving

Check your spam folder — Magic link emails sometimes get filtered. Look in spam, junk, or promotions folders.

Verify your email address — Make sure you typed it correctly without typos.

Wait a moment — Emails usually arrive within seconds but can sometimes take a few minutes.

Check your email filters — If you use email rules, make sure they're not redirecting Kindship emails.

Add to allowlist — Add kindship.ai to your email contacts or allowlist.

Link expired — Request a new link if more than an hour has passed.

Already used — Each link works only once. Request a new one if needed.

Opened in wrong browser — The link should open in your default browser. If you click from an email app, make sure it opens in a real browser.

"Invalid Link" Error

This usually means:

  • The link expired
  • The link was already used
  • The link was corrupted (maybe copied incompletely)

Request a new magic link to resolve the issue.

Security Considerations

Protect Your Email

Since your email is your key to Kindship, keep it secure:

  • Use a strong password on your email account
  • Enable two-factor authentication on your email
  • Don't share email access with others

Public Computers

If you sign in via magic link on a public computer:

  • Make sure to sign out of Kindship when done
  • Sign out of your email as well
  • Don't leave browser tabs open

Shared Email Access

If others can access your email, they could potentially sign in to your Kindship account. Consider using password-based sign-in if email security is a concern.

Combining with Other Methods

Magic links can coexist with other sign-in methods:

  • Use magic links when convenient
  • Fall back to password when email is slow
  • Link social accounts for additional options

All methods access the same account — choose whatever works best in the moment.
